CAPGEMINI : PLACEMENT PROCEDURE

PLACEMENT PROCEDURE:

criteria : For BE: 60% in B.Tech till date & no active backlogs,Max 2 year gaps

Three Different Round:  
  • Written , 
  • GD , 
  • PI . 

1st Round: Written (Aptitude, Reasoning,Verbal)
75 Questions : 90 minutes; Each section having 25 qestions,
Sectional cutoff, For each wrong answer -0.25 marks
( sectional cutoff would be 50-60%.)
1. Quantitative Aptitude (25 quest)
              If you want to crack quantitative section u have to do following section well ;-
              1-numbers
              2-average
              3-speed ,distance
              4-simple compound interest
              5-profit and loss
              6-progression
              7-time and work
              8-percentage

2. Reasoning (25 quest)

3. English (25 quest)

Tips : Don't try to tick all Question, First try 15 from each, then 5 from each,If you get time then try other remaining.Let me tell u friends the logical question was much easy than quantitative .so first attempt logical and then quantitative. don’t go for solving all question of logical solve 15 questions of logical then go for quantitative since quantitative is difficult and there was sectional cut off

                          
2nd Round : Group Discussion(GD : 30 minutes)


GD is mass elimination round
ex topics : "Effect of Social Media on our Society","corruption in education field","Smart work Vs Hard work"....
Group Size- 10-12 students
They give 2-3 minutes preparation time....after that they ask the viewpoints of each students...then general discussion starts. But that depends on the HR how he/she conducts...

Tips:They are taken those people who can just talk English fluently.Thing just u need to talk few points and u need to stick to the point.The coordinators were really very friendly and made all the candidates relaxed. In GD, you will have to show your participation. Do open up your mouth, but at the same time, see to it that you are not disrupting others and make out a valid point at-least try to be around the point and just not beat around the bushes n blabber anything. Dont loose confidence even if you are not a very good speaker. Just give strong points, this is what matters the most.

3rd Round : Interview (technical and HR)
In technical round also they look for fluency & they only check your basic concept.for technical..for interview just wanna say that be very firm with your answers showing full confidence .If u dont know any answer say to them....they just asked about the  basics of C & C++,some of Software Engg,data structure,DBMS...n yes if u have gone through any project be very clear with that coz they may be asking your contribution to that.....
nothing special u have do  here if u r preparing/prepared for wipro,tcs,accenture tech/hr interview


                     Try to be confident n yes keep smiling...coz it may add extra effects...
